The voting period for the 2022 election is now closed.
The ICGA Board of Directors is made up of nine farmers representing each of the nine Congressional Districts (view district map here) plus three ex-officio board members.

Election Information
There are three board positions up for election each year on ICGA’s nine-member Board. Candidate applications are due in the beginning of March, and ballots are sent to farmer members during the month of June.
Board members are elected to a three-year term and can serve three consecutive terms. The term begins in November.
What does the board do?
- Manages and conducts the business of the Indiana Corn Growers Association
- Upholds certain standards of conduct including duty of care, duty of loyalty, duty of obedience, and duty of transparency.
- Attends quarterly board meetings (typically held in November, March, June and August). These meetings are required and are one day in length. Most meetings will be held at the ICGA office in Indianapolis.
- Participates in policy events, works with the media, hosts legislative meetings, represents ICGA at the statehouse or at the national level.
Eligibility Requirements
- A due-paying farmer member in good standing with ICGA
- A producer of corn as an owner, manager or operator
- A resident of the district which you seek to represent
- Current on membership dues of the Indiana Corn Growers Association
How can I learn more?
Candidate Application
All potential candidates who submit their names through the form below and qualify will receive a follow-up from ICGA staff and be asked to complete a petition form that requires signatures from two additional producers by the beginning of March. All candidates will then be reviewed for approval by the ICGA Governance Committee in March. Election ballots are sent to Farmer Members of ICGA in May.
