Founded in 2007, the Indiana Corn Marketing Council (ICMC) is a statewide organization that serves Indiana corn farmers through checkoff programs that help create demand and broaden markets – opening opportunities down the road and across the globe for Indiana’s corn farmers.

Under its current strategic plan, Indiana Corn Marketing Council puts Indiana corn checkoff investments to work into these four strategic focus areas:

How does the checkoff work?

At the first point of sale, one-half cent on each bushel of corn marketed in Indiana is collected, and these funds are used for promotion, research and education at both the state and national levels.

Farmers do have the right to a refund within the law if they choose not to support the corn checkoff program. To get a refund, a farmer must fill out the refund application (click here to view the application).
